摘要
The influence of Fe2O3 on the crystallization and foaming of CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 glass ceramics was investigated, using graphite as foaming agent. The results show that the addition of Fe2O3 reduces the crystal temperature, and promotes the crystallization of pseudowollastonite. During sintering and foaming process, the redox reaction between graphite and Fe3+, increases the interface of foam glass, resulting in the crystallization of wollastonite in foam. Suitable addition of Fe2O3 is helpful to obtain foam glass ceramics with high porosity.
