Full and periodical information sharing model in a two-level supply chain

摘要：
We deal with a two level supply chain containing a supplier and a retailer facing a Bernoulli type of demand distribution function for a single product. The supplier has to meet the retailer demand with no backlog. We analyze the value of information sharing for two different cases. The first is the case where the supplier has full information about the demand at the retailer level and the second is the case where demand information is periodically available. We obtain a closed analytical formula to determine the value of information sharing.
