摘要
In microarray image gridding, the accuracy of the spot localization gives an reliability measure for the extracted data. Ideally, the content of microarray images should be exactly oriented on a fixed pattern given in the experiment, which would make gridding easy. Microarray images can contain huge amounts of background noise and spots can act as lenses spreading the light of the scanner in an undesired way causing high-energy artefacts. The current work proposes a method of gridding microarray image using an method less dependent of the pixel intensity, such is Harris corner detector.
