摘要
In todays' competitive environment and customization, supply chain cost managers have heavy pressure to control end-to-end supply chain cost without compromising on quality of products. The key objective of this research is to investigate the linkage between information sharing and timely delivery, collaborative relationship, quality products, and cost minimization. Data has been collected from 215 manufacturing firms of Pakistan and researchers run simultaneous regression to test hypothesis. The findings show that information sharing is significantly and positively correlated with timely delivery, quality of material and components, and greater collaborative relationships. On the other hand, the results also indicate that timely delivery enhances the collaborative relationship of firms, which significantly reduces the overall cost of end-to-end supply chain management. Information sharing with key suppliers not only reduces the cost of supply chain in terms of timely delivery of products, but also enhances the quality of products and greater collaborative relationship among supply chain members.
