Presentation of a Double-Stator Axial-Flux Permanent-Magnet Disk Motor With Soft Magnetic Composite Cores and Its Cogging Torque Reduction

摘要
A double-stator axial-flux permanent magnet servo motor (AFPM) with soft magnetic composite cores is presented in this paper. The effects of magnet pole arc ratio, slot width and stator shoes rotating angle on cogging torque and no-load back EMF are analyzed. Through optimization, the cogging torque of the motor can be reduced by about 96%, with keeping almost the same other performance requirements.
