摘要
Cloud IoT solutions are becoming more accessible as off-the-self plug and play services. This facilitates the focus of the research work more towards the quality and efficiency of developed applications, by reducing the amount of transmitted data through pre-processing and data aggregation. This paper presents a low-cost solution based on open standards that uses Arduino and Raspberry Pi for implementing an environmental and utilities monitoring application. It describes a multiple level processing architecture and implements a simple data aggregation algorithm to increase operation efficiency.
