摘要
Risk assessment used to estimate disaster losses that can be useful for mitigation plans in disaster impact reduction. This study conducted a risk assessment with the aim to determine the degree and number of the damage from the exposed school buildings due to landslide hazard in Indonesia. Risk consists of three parameters: hazard, vulnerability and an exposure. These parameters are combined and analyzed using spatial analysis in GIS. Landslide hazard index used as hazard parameter, school building as an exposure and vulnerability parameter is represented by a fragility curve that can relate between damage to the given hazard value. Around 6.56% to 10.11% of school buildings in Indonesia are suffered damage by landslides. The degree of damages were classified into 5 levels including 4%, 28%, 68%, 95%, and 99%. Elementary school buildings have the most damage and then followed by junior and senior high school levels. Most of the buildings have a degree of damage at 68% and 95%.
