New twist on amyloids

摘要：
Amyloids are complex protein aggregates with multiple levels of organization. The serum amyloid A peptide possess a right-handed twist and have a common molecular organization called cross-beta structure. The beta-sheets made of naturally occuring amino acids have a chiral signature.
