A REVIEW OF CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACTS ON AGRICULTURE AND ITS ADAPTATION MEASURES

The impacts of climate change are world-wide concerns. Climate change direct impacts on agriculture such as changes in mean climate, occurrence of extreme weather events and climate variability, such as extreme temperatures, drought, heavy precipitation and flooding, frequent occurrence of tropical storms and cyclones. Aside from these, indirect impacts of climate change such as infestations of pests and diseases, and changes in water availability, and increasing sea level are things needed to be taken into account. Adaptation practices are both from national scale and farmers' level.
