摘要
The relation between innovation and internationalisation has been widely studied, and arguments for mutual influence identified. In recent years, both concepts have tended to adopt a more open perspective for development, where cooperation between the firm's internal and external agents plays a central role in the success of the process. We present four hypotheses that link export behaviour and cooperative innovation. We analyse a panel of 9193 firms over six years, using GMM. Our results show the mutual influence of both types of activities through a co-evolutionary process, although export activity has a greater effect on cooperation than vice versa.
