摘要：
The Mukaiyama aldol-Prins (MAP) cyclization of acetals stereoselectively provided substituted tetrahydropyrans. The scope of the reaction has been expanded to include other electrophiles, including ketals and a-acetoxy ethers. Finally, a double MAP cyclization with orthoformates is described.
