摘要：
In this paper, an ultra wideband antenna with omnidirectional radiation pattern is proposed for radar detector applications. The proposed antenna is a solid antenna with a reflector underneath, this results a considerable gain in every frequency range. In this research, 5 sample tested data were collected at frequencies of 3, 6, 9, 12 and 16 GHz and band divisions of S-Band, C-Band, X-Band and Ku-Band. The voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) generated for the above band frequencies is less than 2 both for simulation and measurement. The achieved antenna gain for the above band frequencies is in the range of 2-5 dB.
