Determination of the geometrical parameters of tube reduction processes

摘要
During the experimental investigation of tube reduction processes in certain cases significant differences between the real deformed shapes and the geometrically expected ones may be observed. It may be reasoned by several facts. In this work the influence of material parameters and the effect of some technological conditions on the real deformed shapes will be analyzed. The results are based on numerical simulation performed by FEM system and on the results of experimental investigations carried out at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Miskolc. With these results it is possible to optimize the process not only from the viewpoint of forming force but also from the viewpoint of deformed part shape differences, as well. The elaborated system is integrated as a module into the cold forging expert system elaborated at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Miskolc.
