The Development Process of Sports Apparel

The basic process of the generation, evolution and development of sports apparel are studied in this article based on literature researches. It is believed that in the embryonic sports period, the clothes chosen by people have already possessed the functional characteristics adapting to sports needs. However, in modern times, the idea of sports apparel design and production is basically to remold the clothing on the foundation of daily clothing meanwhile by combining the sports features. At the same time, the modern clothing not only satisfies the needs of sports function, but also visually expresses the harmonious beauty of sports and dressing, bearing the cultural, scientific and technological significations of great importance.
