摘要：
The article presents results of the research conducted into development of public sector entities as illustrated by the example of public healthcare institutions in Poland(2). Particular attention was paid to external and internal determinants of entrepreneurship development. Research results point out to an important role of selected determinants that may have some decisive influence on the level of entrepreneurship in entities of the public sector, which in turn may affect an increase in the effectiveness of their functioning.
