摘要
Problem formulation: Inclusion of simulation games in the educational process in the field of tourism can improve the students' working abilities. Simulation video games are not included enough in Montenegrin educational system. Actually, intensive development of information technology in the last two decades has influenced all the segments of business and educational processes. Trends among young people and students have effects on teachers who adopt them, preparing answers to a number of challenges. Using software for text-processing and preparing presentations is not enough any longer. Are video games just a waste of energy and time? Are they just for fun? Not necessarily. Many games develop creativity, strengthen the capacity to concentrate and boost memory, while some of them require even more intellectual abilities of the players. That are reasons why we wanted to ask students if they are familiar with video games and social networks in general and if they want to learn using ICT technology, simulation video games. Methodology: For the purpose of the paper, poll was used for collecting data, statistical method was used for analysing collected data. Collecting and processing data had been done by online software. Survey was made between 100 students of tourism and business faculties in Montenegro. Results: A survey among students gives us the right to insist on better use of information technology for educational purposes because they want to learn using video games.
