摘要：

This paper attempts to apply DEA clustering in the insurance business of property insurance company performance evaluation. Firstly, all decision-making units from different sections are included in DEA at the same time, so that the DEA effective average value of the insurance business each property insurance company is obtained in sample period. Secondly, after sorting the DEA effective average values descending, the ordered samples series is generated. And then, twostep cluster analysis of the ordered samples is carried out with the optimal partition method, so the clustering results are obtained definitely. Finally, taking 11 property insurance company in the insurance market in China as an example, it is proved that DEA clustering is feasible and suitable in the insurance business property insurance company performance evaluation.
