Perspectives of the use of statistical mechanics methods in quantum gravity phenomenology

摘要
The possible benefits of the use of the methods of statistical mechanics in the context of gravity are analyzed. Two directions will be explored, i.e., Bose-Einstein condensation under the presence of a gravitational field, and the possible emergence of phase transitions due to the breakdown of Lorentz symmetry.
