On the basis of the specific analysis of the impact of the foreign direct investment in China on Sino-us trade balance, using the cointegration analysis and error correction model, the text does a empirical analysis to this Sino-us trade balance's enlarge effect. The research results show that there is a long-term balanced relationship between foreign direct investment enterprises in China and the US trade deficit with China. From this we can see that American direct investment enterprises in China promote China's exports to America, and it partly enlarges the imbalance of the trade between the two counties. So, on the basis, the article puts forward that the effective measure to reduce the US trade deficit with China is to give full to the trade diversion and trade creation effect of East Asian Free Trade Area, enhance the orientation of foreign investment flow and expand domestic demand.
