摘要
The paper discusses the possibilities of acoustic emission measurement of frequently used gear pump. The measurement and subsequent data processing was done in the frequency range of 25 divided by 75 kHz. The acoustic emission signal contains information about operating conditions and can be used for diagnostic purposes. The emitted acoustic emission signal in the frequency range of 25 divided by 75 kHz is not significantly influenced by mechanical vibration of the drive and other mechanical components and has its origin in flowing liquid and cavitation processes. The acoustic emission measurement and suitable processing of acquired data present an additional and useful approach to frequently used diagnostic procedures.
