摘要
During the last nine years, some national and supranational courts have established guidelines with the purpose of limiting the length of certain procedural documents and standardizing their external configuration. Sometimes these restrictions are endorsed by regulations that authorize them. In other cases, however, this is not the case. Anyway, it is an increasingly pronounced trend, which should be noted. The publication on January 13, 2021 of the Guide to good practices on oral writings and reports and judicial proceedings, agreed by the Governing Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia, the Council of Illustrious Bar Associations of Catalonia and the Illustrious Barcelona Bar Association, allows us to think again on these issues, as well as the need to have the opinion of the academy or specialized doctrine and the virtues that favor the argumentative clarity in forensic writings.
