摘要
The study investigated whether twill-weave lyocell, twill-weave wool, and plain-weave mohair/wool blend fabrics, fused to appropriate nonwoven interlinings, would be compatible with wetcleaning technologies when tested for dimensional stability. Results revealed significant differences in dimensional stability of the fused lyocell, wool, and mohair/wool blend fabrics. The unfused lyocell and fused lyocell fabric/interlining combinations were not acceptable for wetclean care methods when evaluated for dimensional stability. The unfused wool and fused wool fabric/interlining combinations were acceptable for wetclean care methods when evaluated for dimensional stability. The unfused mohair/wool blend and the fused mohair/wool fabric/interlining combinations were acceptable for wetclean care methods according to evaluation for dimensional stability.
