摘要
This paper presents a dual converter system to connect a three-phase doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) to a dc microgrid. The proposed converter connects an uncontrolled converter and a full-controlled converter in series with the generator stator windings, in an open-end winding (OEW) configuration. The controlled converter is connected to an independent dc link, based on floating capacitors. The paper discusses the converter operating principles, pulse-width modulation (PWM), DFIG power control, and the floating capacitors voltage regulation. Simulation and experimental results are presented, showing the steady-state operation for a 0.56-kW DFIG. Finally, it was verified that the proposed system can regulate the voltages of the floating capacitors with no need for external sources, and maintain sinusoidal voltages and currents over the DFIG stator windings.
