摘要
With presence of large number of distributed generation in the grid, the system is imposed higher power fluctuations. Therefore, innovative control schemes should be provided in the future power systems to maintain the voltage in an acceptable level. Moreover, the reactive power supply is planned to be shifted from large controlled bulk power plants to other reactive power sources. To this end, a use case is developed under the framework of INTERPLAN project - Integrated operation planning tool towards the Pan-European network. The use case aims to present suitable control functions in order to improve coordination among transmission system operator (TSO) and distribution system operator (DSO) in a way that voltage can be kept in relevant bandwidth. This use case has three main steps including reactive power flexibility assessment, TSO optimal power flow and DSO optimal power flow. This procedure aims to find the optimum reactive power set points for renewable energy resources while the reactive power capability from DSO is communicated to TSO. According to the results the information exchange among DSO and TSO are minimized by trying to set the reactive power set points of connection points constant while meeting an acceptable voltage range.
