Transmission matrix modelling of sampled-grating distributed Bragg reflector lasers

摘要
The transmission matrix model (TMM) has been used to simulate the tuning behaviour of a sampled-grating distributed Bragg reflector (SG-DBR) laser for the first time, to the best of our knowledge. The model is able to describe all details of the spontaneous emission spectrum below threshold and yields results in good qualitative agreement with experiment. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
