摘要
This study was performed with a motive of assessing the impacts of replacement natural aggregates (NAs) with the recycled demolition was aggregates (rDWAs) and addition of steel fibers on the durability properties of fiber-reinforced self-compacting concrete (FRSCC). In this regard, coefficient of permeability (CoP), as a proxy of water permeability (WP), sorptivity (SoP) and ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) were estimated for different FRSCC samples. Further, optimization was performed using central composite design (CCD) in combination with response surface methodology (RSM). It was revealed that at optimized conditions i.e., rDWAS = 0.85 and SF = 0.22, the CoP, SoP and UPV of FRSCC were 46.73 x 10(-12) m/s, 0.0155 cm/s(1/2) and 4430 m/s, respectively. Therefore, the findings of this study made it evident that NAs can be replaced with rDWAs in the FRSCC and assist in waste management. (C) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
