摘要：
In this paper, we will introduce a cognitive approach to aesthetics and creativity. First, we show the process model of creative design. And we explain designers' belief system and their aesthetic emotion based on the process model. To investigate the creativity from the knowledge operation level, we introduce several earlier researches of machine design, Al, and design engineering. And, we extract designers' remarks so as to clarify the content of design knowledge. Further, we try to connect the content of creative design with the process model mentioned above.
