摘要
The MEG experiment, which will search for a rare muon decay, mu -> e gamma, to explore supersymmetric grand unification, are currently being prepared at Paul Scherrer Institut, Switzerland. Its innovative detector system that enables orders of magnitude better sensitivity than previous experiments are under construction and are described here in some detail.
