A new solution to the problem of spatial ergodicity for oblique wave incidence on a randomly inhomogeneous refractive medium

For the oblique incidence of a wave on a randomly inhomogeneous medium, it is shown that one can obtain spatial statistical phase characteristics by averaging along an arbitrary horizontal straight line instead of spatial averaging. It is shown that the spatial stochastic properties of the phase can be determined from time measurements only when there is a horizontal drift of the inhomogeneous medium.
