摘要
Technologies adoption and acceptance theories seek to examine factors that influence the consumer to purchase or accept a product. Technologies are developed, evolve, but to survive, one phase of their life cycle is acceptance. Thus, different theories study this theme from different perspectives: Diffusion of Innovation Theory, Rational Action Theory, Planned Behavior Theory, Technology Acceptance Model, Technology Acceptance Model 2, Technology Acceptance Model 3 and Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance and Utilization. Thus, the objective of this article was to analyze the evolution of the theories of adoption and acceptance of new technologies. The Systematic Search Flow (SSF) method was used, which resulted in 145 articles. The results show that the initial theories were concerned with the individual or characteristics of the product with respect to utility, ease, and quality. The new theories explored aspects such as performance and effectiveness, directing new studies to this perspective.
