摘要
In the realm of CIM, centralised monitoring, controlling and scheduling coupled with integration with ERP or other management systems is the most optimum way of utilising the strengths of IT in automation. Web enabled industrial automation systems provide a powerful and inexpensive way of remote monitoring and control. However, to connect heterogeneous controller environment of a typical plant into a seamless web enabled system is a challenge. PlantLink architecture provides a conceptual framework for conquering this challenge.
