摘要
There are several different techniques for managing hazards and risks evaluation. One of the important and major techniques used for high risk systems and hazard identification is Fault Tree Analysis (FTA). This technique uses the Boolean logic tree of the relationships and tracing possible events leading to a major problem or disaster. FTA has been widely applied in industrial sectors in particular for evaluating risks in complex systems. However, this paper attempts to show the possibility and benefits of using FTA in presenting and evaluating the relationships among the elements of the ISO 9000:2000 standard and the potential problems and root causes of failure in ISO implementation.
