摘要
The objective of this investigation was to develop and analyse genetic algorithm-optimised proportional-integral-derivative and pseudo-derivative feedback controllers, which modulate the operation of a 100 m tall building elevator system. The genetic algorithm aimed to identify the optimal gains for each controller that provide the best elevator performance, while still meeting the necessary safety, comfort and disturbance rejection requirements and constraints. While both controllers ensured that the 3200 kg elevator car reached the top floor within the required time of 65 s, it was clear that the pseudo-derivative feedback controller exhibited better performance. The proposed control scheme surpassed its counterpart in terms of solution fitness, run time for the genetic algorithm, rise time, settling time, arrival time, sensitivity to car mass variations and disturbance rejection.
