Improvement in Dynamic Response of Quasi Z Source Inverter Fed Induction Motor using Fractional order PID controller

摘要
Quasi Z Source Inverter (QZSI) is a good choice between Rectifier and induction motor drive. This work deals with Modeling and Simulation QZSI fed induction motor in open loop and closed loop. The objective of this work is to improve the time domain response using fractional order PID control. Open loop QZSI FIM and closed loop QZSI FIM systems with PI and FO PID are simulated and their results are compared. This comparison indicates that response with FO PID is superior to the PI controlled QZSI FIM. The FO PID is proposed in the present work to improve the response.
