A Node Localization Algorithm Based on Connection Constraint for WSNs

摘要
Wireless sensor network(WSN) is important for many strategic applications. Node localization is a key research issue in wireless sensor networks. A node localization algorithm based on connection constraint is proposed in this paper. The positions of the located nodes are estimated using the multi-hop reference nodes. At the first stage, the located nodes acquire their initial positions according to the connection information of the one-hop or multi-hop reference nodes. At the second stage, every node broadcasts its initial position to the neighbor nodes and refines its position information based on multi-hop connection constraint between each other. Numerical simulation results show that this localization algorithm is accurate and robust.
