摘要：

We study the decay of convolution powers of probability measures on some discrete groups that are not finitely generated such as the infinite symmetric group G =S-(infinity) and algebraic direct sums of finitely generated groups G = Sigma Gamma i, e.g., with F, = Z/p(i)Z for some sequence of integer p(i) or F-i = Z(d) for all i.
