摘要
About 100 years ago, design played an important role for human beings. That was realization of harmonious life between man and machine. And now, design faces a rather difficult theme. It goes without saying that the theme is realization of harmonious life between man and environment. I think design would contribute to it in various kinds of ways. But I believe one of the most important things among them is that design makes more attractive rife suitable foe environmental protection than we expect. If not, our efforts might be in vain.
