摘要
Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) is a new signal processing method which is suitable for non-linear and non-stationary process. With this method, the original signals are decomposed into a finite number of stationary Intrinsic Mode functions (IMFs), then a number of IMFs contain main fault information are selected to extract fault features. In this paper, it is used to process the gear box vibration signals and diagnose the gear tooth face wear. successfully. Comparing with FFT, The good qualities of FFT are illustrated.
