University power electronic education through an industrial battery charger design project - A case study

摘要：

To train our postgraduate students to be effective, we involve them in industrial consultancy projects for their first 6-12 months, where they do the major parr of the work. This provides excellent training on a small scale with practical aspects, such that the students and their projects can be closely supervised and guidance supplied, and hence rapid learning occurs. This paper looks at the lessons learnt from an industrial battery charger.
