摘要
This paper proposes an integrated active power decoupling circuit utilizing an existing electric vehicle motor drive system for on-board battery chargers. When utilizing the active power decoupling circuit capable of controlling the secondary ripple power in single-phase power conversion systems, additional power switches and passive components are required, resulting in increased cost and volume of the system. Since the motor itself and the drive circuit components are not engaged during battery charging time, three inductors in the motor stator and six switches in the three-phase inverter circuit are available and can be used in active power decoupling circuits, especially in a capacitor-split-type circuit In this paper, the system architecture and control method of an integrated active power decoupling circuit are presented. As a result of the utilization of the active power decoupling circuit comprising the minimum number of additional components, the overall system can achieve high power density and high lifetime. MATLAB-Simulink simulation results and hardware-in-the-loop-simulation-based experimental results verify the performance of the proposed system.
