Constructing the Competence System for Higher Vocational Education Teachers Via the Grounded Theory

摘要
The lack of teachers' ability standard and the contents of competence is a problem which influences construction of teachers' team of Chinese higher vocational schools, comparing with primary or middle school teachers, there are few researches on this subject. Taking 43 national teaching masters as the research object, this paper collected about 50 articles with 110000 words from all kinds of news and interviews to construct a model of competence of Chinese higher vocational education teachers through open coding, axial coding and selective coding via the Grounded Theory. Based on the model, this paper made a competence system of Chinese higher vocational education teachers, which includes 8 competences and 28 indices, provides the basis for choosing, training and evaluating Chinese higher vocational education teachers, points out the direction for teacher's personal development, and gives a new approach for related researches.
