摘要:
Silica gel particles prepared by microemulsion technology were used as the corns, which were subsequently coated nanometer titania layer through sol-gel process. Phase compositions and microstructures of nanometer TiO2-coated silica particles were characterized. The results of experiments indicate that the size of nanometer TiO2-coated silica particles is about 250nm. The coated-TiO2 layers with the average thickness of 20 nm similar to 40nm are uniform. With the calcining temperature rising from 550 degrees C to 850 degrees C, the coated-TiO2 layers indicate anatase-phase crystal structure, and the size of nanometer titania in the coated-layers is less than 20nm. The Ti-O-Si chemical bond is formed at the corn-layer interfaces confirmed by XPS and FT-IR.
