摘要
The techno-economic studies of distributed energy resources in the low-voltage (LV) distribution networks are mostly simulated on a few typical LV feeders, so the scalability issue of modeling and simulating a large part of LV networks in a large city is discussed. The proposed generic modeling framework has been implemented on a practical utility-scale LV network considering the LV network characteristics. The simulation platform is open source, which is customized and automated to assess the impact of rooftop photovoltaic (PV) integration. The framework can be expanded to assess the other Smart Grid technology options and to assist the localized asset investment policy decisions.
