The paper reports on current developments in implementing the project reported at CriMiCo 2003 [1]: publishing a guide to compiling a glossary for the 'Microwave Technology and Telecommunications' Encyclopedia [2]. The Encyclopedia structure and the ideology of composing the glossary for the first volume are reviewed. This ideology is based on the Russian Federation educational standards for 16 trades in radio engineering, telecommunications and adjacent profiles [3-6]. Also discussed are the principles behind selecting the team of writers, issues related to setting up a software suite that would support the editorial project of producing the Encyclopedia, as well as networking aspects of the project.
