The Effect of National System of Innovation on Agricultural Growth in Ghana

摘要
The National System of Innovation has played a prominent role in the function of organizations in terms of provisions of rules, norms and laws in the organizations. It has enhanced the activities in agricultural development. The key intention of this paper is to assess and appraise the effect of NIS as a poverty improvement tool in agricultural expansion in the Ghana. The paper employs Ordinary Least Square (OLS) estimation model with data period of 1995 - 2015. The empirical analysis showed that Export, Literacy Rate of personnel in Agriculture, Infrastructure Development in Agric and Research & Development have long run period positive connection with Agricultural Growth. It recommends that more funding should be jeered towards infrastructure development in agriculture, continuous education, research and expansion in agriculture.
