Graphical representation and modelling of an airflow in ventilation network

For many years a computer system called AutoWENT has been used in LGOM mines, as AutoCAD R12 application. The basic system role is modeling of airflow in a ventilation network and creating, editing and updating a graphical representation of the ventilation network. Besides of this, the system contain many others programs which are very helpful, for instance, in creating a mathematical model of a ventilation network or pre-processing measurements data necessary for the model. From AutoWENT one can run programs calculating air distribution in ventilation network as well as visualizes obtained results on spatial diagram that is regular AutoCAD drawing. Recently the AutoWENT system has been rewritten, and now runs in Windows (Win32) environment. The new version of the program comprises a simple CAD subsystem. The system is very useful in managing, planning and developing a ventilation network.
