With the wide application of the spatial database in remote sensing, geography information system, medical image, etc, which also leads to a sharp increase in spatial data A large amount of knowledge is hidden in the spatial database In order to obtain useful information for us, we have to analyse these spatial data In this paper, we introduce the design and implemention of spatial data mining prototype system based on campus GIS. give the system architecture of campus GIS, integrate data mining system with campus GIS, set up a model of prototype system, give the chart of system flow process and programming implemente it. Successful application of the system on the campus GIS of a university has tested the feasibility of this system. (C) 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
