Challenges and opportunities for the technology sector growth in central and Eastern Europe

The frantic growth of the IT sector and the technology management presence of the world's top multinationals in countries of central and eastern Europe in the last 10 years has resulted in the creation of some major technology management hubs in this region. With the drastic changes of the sector and the changing role of the regional economies, the technology market is changing directions threatening the growth of some sector segments while at the same time allowing for opportunities for further growth across a number of other technology sectors. At the same time, different regional economies are striving for growth opportunities positioning fairly different value propositions. This paper provides an analysis of the technology markets in the region and discuss the challenges and opportunities to be found across the sector as well as the outlook resulting from research on the market factors influencing the sector.
