摘要
This study aims to explain the impact of the learning models of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) on the formation of clean and healthy living behaviors in Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School). The methodology used in this study is a qualitative analysis using the causal-effectual analysis to evaluate the logical relationship between observed variables. The object of this research is the students at the MBI (Madrasah Bertaraf Internasional-Madrasa/ Islamic School with International Standard) Amanatul Ummah Mojokerto, Indonesia. The results of the study show an increase in knowledge as a product of STEM education can improve student character. Changes in student behavior can observe it after obtaining STEM learning, which tends to have an increase in caring and actions that support clean and healthy living behavior. The implication of this research is necessary to instill logical and systemic knowledge to improve the character of students in carrying out clean and healthy life behaviors, one of which can go through the STEM learning model.
