摘要
Due to the nature of renewable energy, the variability in generation is high. Therefore, the grid operator experiences operational concerns arising from these variable generations. In this study, variations and differences of power angle in the grid are discussed and effects of change in wind energy generation on power angles are analyzed in detail. Equivalent model of Turkish 400kV transmission grid based on nine regional load dispatch center are used. The analysis are performed using Digsilent software. It is aimed to determine the wind generation capacities, which can be safely integrated into the system according to the total consumption of the grid. The analysis is carried out for different scenarios. Results show that the current infrastructure of the Turkish grid is suitable for integrating about 2.5GW wind generation. If the integrated wind power is either 5GW or none, power angles of the busses in the grid are negatively affected. The ideal level of wind generation to be injected to grid should kept in about 3GW.
